An online service available to everyone
SystmOnline, our one stop shop for online services, brings you and your GP Practice closer together than ever before.
Currently this service allows you to book and cancel appointments, as well as order prescriptions, send us your messages or questions, update your contact details and complete surveys. SystmOnline is connected directly to your medical records, and it will display an up-to-date list of the regular medications that you take. This list will automatically show you the dosage of each medication, when it is due for review, when it was last ordered and when it was last issued, making it simple to keep track of your prescriptions every step of the way.
GMS / PMS 2015-16 Contractual Requirement for Patient Online Service
As part of the GP contract for 2015-16, GP practices across England are required to offer and promote the facility for patients to view their 'Detailed Coded Medical Record' online by 31st March 2016. Bowling Hall Medical Practice has now enabled this feature in SystmOnline.
SystmOnline allows registered paitents with a valid log-in to request access to their Detailed Coded Medical Record. This includes any coded entries in your medical records, including diagnoses, vaccinations, medications, tests and procedures. It does not include any free text entries, such as consultation notes entered by the doctor.
Please be aware that before granting a person access to their medical records, they must first be checked through by a clinician to ensure that there are no entries which could be considered 'potentially harmful'. Because of this, it may be up to a maximum of three weeks before access is granted once it has been requested.
There are currently no plans to enable 'Full Clinical Record' access routinely for patients.
Our Old Online Services
The options listed below allow you to use our old online systems for ordering repeat medications and completing surveys. These are currently still operating, but we will be turning them off at a later date.
