All GP practices are required to declare the mean earnings (e.g. average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice.
The average pay for GPs working in Bowling Highfield Medical Centre in the last financial year was £59,251 before tax and national insurance.
This is for 4 full time GPs and 7 part time GPs and 3 locum who worked in the practice for more than six months.
The prescribed method for calculating earnings may be misleading. It doesn't consider the time doctors spend working in the practice. It shouldn't be used to judge GP earnings or compare practices.
