DR CLARE HUTCHINGS

GP Partner - MB, ChB, M.R.C.G.P, D.R.C.O.G, DGM
In 1999, following her training at Leeds Medical School and then the GP Training Scheme in York, Dr Hutchings came to work in BD4. She holds is a member of the Royal College of GPs and has specialist diplomas in Geriatric Medicine, Diabetes and Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Dr Hutchings is also passionate about training our future Doctors and oversees the training of our Foundation Year 2 Doctors and GP Registrars.
DR SABAH MALIK

GP Partner - MBCHB (Dundee 2003) MRCGP, DRCOG, DFSRH (LoC IUT and LoC SDI), PGCPCE
Dr Malik provides usual General Medical services. She has special interest in women’s health and contraception. She is one of the GPs doing mum and baby clinics and is trained to insert coils and implants. Dr Malik is also a GP and Physician Associate trainer. She is the practice clinical lead for our Primary Care Network. She has undergone specialist dermatology training and holds weekly clinics with the trust primary care team at the surgery.
DR MICHAEL PETER

GP Partner - MBChB, MRCS, MRCGP
Dr Peter joined the Practice in 2015 and has a specialist interest in minor surgery, respiratory disease and is a qualified Level 2 diabetes practitioner. He is one of the GP trainers at the Practice and also undergone specialist dermatology training and holds weekly clinics with the trust primary care team at the surgery.
DR IBRAHIM MAHMOOD

GP Partner - MBChB 2010, MRCGP 2016
Dr Mahmood qualified from Manchester University in 2010 and completed his GP training in the North East of England and Yorkshire in 2016. Dr Mahmood has an interest in mens health issues and minor surgery. Dr Mahmood is a GP Trainer and works with the other GPs to support all the other teaching and training within the practice. He is the mentor to one of the Foundation Year Two Doctors on placement with the practice.

Dr Jassal joined the Practice in 2017 having completing her GP training with us. She is a GP trainer and helps teach new Doctors in Primary Care.

Dr Greenham joined the Practice in 2017 having previously worked as a Foundation Year 2 Doctor with the Practice in 2013. She has a specialist interest in elderly medicine and also trains Year Two medical students at the Practice.
DR EMMELINE CHELLAM

Dr Chellam joined the Practice in 2018 having previously trained with us back in 2011. She as a special interest in paediatric medicine. Dr Chellam also trains Year Four Medical Students on placement with the Practice.

Dr Hassan joined the Practice as a salaried GP in 2021 having previously trained with the Practice. She holds post natal clinics for mum and baby 8 week checks.

Our Advanced Nurse Practitioner can provide treatment and advice for many problems for which you may have seen a doctor for in the past. She can assess and examine you, make a diagnosis and provide advice and treatment including a prescription or sick note if required.

Practice Nurse Manager
Sarah is a specialist Nurse in respiratory disease and diabetes. She is also one of our Level 2 diabetes specialist Nurses and is able to prescribe for chronic disease. Sarah also mentor's student nurses who come to the Practice on placement as part of their training.

Muriel holds general clinics for all chronic disease management, screening and immunisations. She is also one of our specialist Nurse's in Level 2 Diabetes management. Muriel also mentor's student nurses who come to the Practice on placement as part of their training. She is also an independent prescriber which means she can prescribe for chronic diseases such as asthma and diabetes.

Lisa is a qualified nurse associate. A Nursing Associate (NA) is a new stand-alone role developed to support the existing nursing team and help bridge the skills gap between Healthcare Assistants (HCA's) and Registered Nurses (RGN) to improve patient care. Lisa is currently studying to become a registered adult nurse.
